Thanks again for all of the wonderful contributions you all made to the fall book club. PGP emails were sent out last week. They were sent to everyone who participated in at least 10 of the 12 weeks of the book club. If you did not receive a PGP email and feel that you should have, please contact Meri Carnahan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Congratulations to Adelle Marvin from Twin Lakes School Corporation who is the recipient of the $1000 professional development mini grant. Another grant will be awarded to a participant of the spring book club.
Speaking of the spring book club, it's time to announce the selection. We will be reading Pure Genius: Building a Culture of Innovation and Taking 20% Time to the Next Level by Don Wettrick. Don is the Innovation Coordinator and oversees the media center at Noblesville High School. We are excited to support a local author and to learn about adding innovation and authentic learning to classrooms. The digital and paperback versions of this book can be purchased from Amazon. If you have a group of participants at your school or district of more than 5 people and are interested in purchasing paperback books in bulk, please contact Shelley Burgess at
email@example.com. Our spring book club will kick off on Monday, February 2nd.
